About This Project
Some of our projects start from a blank slate, and others involve taking an existing landscaped area to a new level! Our Design+Build team worked with a client in Edina, MN to redesign and expand their native backyard planting. This client wanted a more “designed” look for their native landscape. Our goal was to make new native garden areas blend seamlessly with existing garden beds, and to relocate some of the existing native species for better layering of plants.
We curated a selection of native species for year-round blooms in support of pollinators, taking care to include species that would not be overly aggressive. Meandering stepping stones were added, extending existing paths through the garden.
