Minnesota native plants are featured in this design, showing how you can incorporate them into a pollinator garden. Project partners include Wilderness in the City, Dakota County Parks and Holland Lake Trailhead at Lebanon Hills Regional Park.
This design for a parking lot perimeter planting incorporates hardy plants and some natives, adding curb appeal to the commercial property.
This was created for a native planting on a capped contaminated lot. Plantings were chosen for their fibrous root system, rather than a deeper tap root system, to avoid piercing the cap. State partners assisted in plant selection.
This planting, designed for a Minneapolis park, provides a visual barrier between the playground areas and the nearby alley. The project is funded by the state Lawns to Legumes program supporting Minnesotans to create pollinator habitat, in partnership with the Armatage Neighborhood Association.
