About This Project
A full yard renovation, this project includes a front yard transformation, a new narrow boulevard garden along the client’s driveway, and a new rain garden and native planting in the side yard. The rain garden receives stormwater from downspout near side door of the house. A dry creek bed on south side of property conveys water from two downspouts on south side of house to the sidewalk, bringing water into a new boulevard rain garden between homeowner’s driveway and the street corner. Hardscaping elements that accentuate this project include limestone retaining wall stone, boulder and outcroppings, and stepping stones.
